Install through Codex.

Open the pets folder from Settings so Codex chooses the right location for your machine. Read the official Pets docs ↗

    Download the drag-and-drop pet pack.

  2. 2

    In Codex, open Settings → Pets → Custom pets → Open folder.

  3. 3

    Copy any of the frostbyte, bolt, cinder, or mantra folders from the pack into that folder.

  4. 4

    Return to Pets, choose Refresh, then select your new companion.

These links open the current Codex desktop pet installer and use the hosted v2 spritesheets.

Upstream concept: current Codex custom pets receive no reasoning-effort hook, so Ultra cannot activate automatically today. These controls preview proposed evolved forms for Frostbyte and Bolt only; Cinder and Mantra have no evolved-form study.
